The holidays of Tishrei have just ended, and with it began the most intensive month of work preparing for the International Conference of Shluchim, Kinus Hashluchim 5775.
Members of the Va’ad Hakinus and representatives of Merkos L’inyonei Chinuch have convened in Crown Heights to plan once more the Kinus, which will focus on the sole mission of every Shliach: To prepare the world for the coming of Moshiach.
Themed “The Gate to Shlichus,” this year’s Kinus will focus on what is really important for Shluchim and Shlichus, what constitutes the base and foundation for Shlichus, the “gate” which leads to success in the Rebbe’s mission.
In a conversation with members of the Va’ad Hakinus, they have told of various enhancements for this year’s Kinus, including a wider range of topics to be discussed, sessions in Hebrew and English, a special book to be distributed to participants at the Gala Banquet and much more.
The official opening of the Kinus takes place on Shabbos Parshas Toldos, in 770, with the Rebbe’s Farbrengen, with sessions before and after Shabbos, and a Gala Banquet on Motzoei Shabbos.
